Las Vegas Girl Fatally Struck by Drunk Driver While Trick-or-Treating
A 12-year-old girl was killed in a Las Vegas car accident, which police officers say involved a driver who was speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs. According to a CBS News report, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Las Vegas Halloween night.
Police Department says the young victim was trick-or-treating with her aunt and cousins when a 2009 Mazda RX-8 struck her. She was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital before her mother arrived. The 41-year-old male driver involved in this incident has been charged with felony DUI.
